Mission Statement
The Tribal Social Services Department (TSSD) is an all-encompassing social service provider for the Santa Rosa Rancheria Tachi-Yokut Tribe, which focuses on serving tribal members, residents, lineal descendants, and other documented Natives. TSSD provides culturally appropriate, empirically supported services in a wide range of areas, including: Parenting Support Groups and Psychoeducation, Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) placement and child welfare assistance services, domestic violence prevention and intervention, educational supportive assistance in collaboration with the Tribal Education Department and associated school districts, comprehensive alcohol and drug prevention and intervention services, family counseling, crisis intervention, grief and loss counseling, advocacy when appropriate, and various other modalities of counseling. The main goal of TSSD is to provide services to strengthen, preserve, and reunify tribal families.
General Objectives
The objective of TSSD is to provide various counseling and mental health services, alcohol and drug treatment services, domestic violence services, educational assistance services, and child welfare services to tribal members, residents, lineal descendants, and other documented Natives seeking services, or who are identified as an at-risk population. TSSD will work in collaboration with various other Tribal Departments to provide comprehensive services and maintain a continuity of care for all clientele.List of Current Services
