Santa Rosa Rancheria - MIS Department

The Tachi Yokut Native American Tribal Government Management Information Systems Department is vital in supporting the technological infrastructure and information management needs of the Santa Rosa Rancheria Tachi Yokut Tribe. Our department is responsible for delivering reliable and secure IT services, ensuring smooth communication and data integrity throughout all tribal government operations.

 

We manage a diverse range of services, including network administration, cybersecurity, technical support, and software development, all designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our tribal government. Tribal Chief Technology Officer | Tribal Cybersecurity Committee Chairman

Daniel is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer and the Cybersecurity Steering Committee Chairman for the Santa Rosa Rancheria Tachi-Yokut Tribe. Currently, he guides the Tribal Council and Tribal Leadership in leveraging data management, innovation, and technology for the benefit of our Native American Tribal Government. Prior to this, he was the Chief Information Officer for the City of Madera, California, where he was responsible for the efficient use of IT resources, cybersecurity security posture, and the overall technological infrastructure for the city. Daniel additionally served as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Project Manager for an IT Managed Service Provider founded in Clovis, California, as well as Manager of Information Technology at Framebridge in Washington, DC and Director of Information Technology at Berkshire Hathaway automotive group out of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

 

Throughout his 25-year career, he has developed expertise in IT governance, (data governance/classification/sovereignty), IT team leadership, team development, project budgeting and oversight, managing performance, network architecture, and network security administration.  Daniel Holguin Sr. has a proven track record of implementing innovative solutions that optimize IT operations, fortifies our boundaries, and drives significant cost savings.
